Transport & Mobility

The choice of means of transport in Brussels Capital-Region is wide. Having a private car is an option but public and other ways of transport, given the traffic jams, and the difficulty of finding a parking space in some parts of the city, make others ways of travel at least as attractive.

The region has a good public transport system with buses and trams, six metro lines and offers bike- or car sharing, carpooling and taxi service. Walking may also be a viable option in some cases, as the size of the region is not comparable to cities like London or Paris.
