TRANSPORT

The choice of means of transport in the Brussels Capital-Region is broad. Having a private car is an option but public and other ways of transport, taking into account traffic congestion and the difficulty of finding a parking space in some parts of the city, make others ways of moving around at least as attractive. The region has a good public transport system with buses and trams, has six metro lines and also offers bike- or car sharing, car pooling and taxi sharing service. Walking might also be a viable option in some cases, since the size of the region is not to be compared to cities like London or Paris.
