The CEIO initiated the “Study of security in the European quarter”. On one hand, its aim is to objectify threats in public areas of the European quarter and on the other, to create guidelines for integrating security measures while maintaining a convivial urban environment.
Yesterday the 7th high level meeting between the Government of the Brussels-Capital Region and the EU institutions organised by the Brussels Commissioner for Europe and International Organisations (CEIO) took place.
The principal guideline for the Brussels Commissioner' office (CEIO) is still to commit fully to the creation of a dynamic solution-oriented host region policy, capable of competing internationally. This annual report presents the achievements of 2018 and touches on the outlook for 2019.
The jury for the architectural competition on the "Loi 130" project of the European commission met for the first time last week. Brussels-Capital Region is represented in the jury by the Minister-President and the Master Archictect "Bouwmeester" Mr Kristiaan Borret is also jury member.
