The principal guideline for the Brussels Commissioner' office (CEIO) is still to commit fully to the creation of a dynamic solution-oriented host region policy, capable of competing internationally. This annual report presents the achievements of 2018 and touches on the outlook for 2019.
The jury for the architectural competition on the "Loi 130" project of the European commission met for the first time last week. Brussels-Capital Region is represented in the jury by the Minister-President and the Master Archictect "Bouwmeester" Mr Kristiaan Borret is also jury member. On Wednesday 20 April 2016, Martin Schultz, President of the European Parliament, paid an official visit to the parliament of the Brussels-Capital Region, his first appearance before a regional parliament.
